We’re getting ever closer to being ready to launch our brand new Muven 2.0 software and thought we’d give you an update on some exciting features we’ve been working on.
Wizards (Data Entry)

Welcome Page
We all know how frustrating it can be to spend time filling out a web form only to get to the last page and discover that you need a specific bit of information that you don’t have to hand! Each wizard now has its own welcome page which will list all the details required to complete the wizard, along with some other commonly entered information.
Duplicate Checks
This section of the system has been updated to make it quicker to bypass if you’re sure the customer is new, as well as offering a simpler way of searching to identify if the customer already exists within the CRM.
Look & Layout
The layout of the wizards have been given a fresh, modern look and are now easier to navigate, clearly showing what data you are entering.
Customisation
We have increased the level of customisation options available to you. Upon request, we will be able to implement some, per agent, adjustments to each of the wizards. For example, we could add a rule to make a data field required or follow a specific format.

Calendar Framework
With a new version of Muven will come a new version of the calendar. We have updated the calendar framework to vastly improve performance and reliability.
Speed
The calendar may look simple but it has a large and unforgiving job! We’ve noticed in recent years that the calendar is taking 5-6 seconds to fetch the results. We have now integrated a caching database, enabling events that are in the cache to load into the calendar in under a second (dependant on internet speed).
We can’t cache everything but the most commonly accessed timeframe (this month, last month and next month) are all cached every day and events that are edited or newly created get cached automatically for the day.
Calendar Exporting / iCal
We previously had a very simple exporting function that would enable users to add their diary to Outlook or their computers and phones. This function contained the most barebones information about an event and would require you to login to the system to access any details. This is no more, events will now include the start and end time, negotiator, property address, applicant name, links to open the event within Muven directly, and much more.
Calendar Framework
With a new version of Muven will come a new version of the calendar. We have updated the calendar framework to vastly improve performance and reliability.
General Calendar Improvements
The inclusion of user avatars will improve the readability of the events making it easier to see who is assigned to which event. We have created an improved calendar sharing feature, useful for agents with split branches but who still want to share calendar entries.
